Inventions and Ideas (or Stuff Someone Else Should Make)
This is 100% my crazy post-it note board where I just write down all my imaginary inventions and other random ideas. ALL IDEAS ARE MINE! *Unless someone else already came up with it. I have high hopes that someone will pay me for my ideas and then go do all the work of actually making the thing. I mean, I’ll let you take my idea for 10% of the profit. Such a good deal.
Also- there’s a very good chance that someone DID already do one of these ideas. If so- PLEASE TELL ME. I will link them and buy them (or use, or whatever).
Travel Towel Hangers
I have thought about this in great detail. You know when your family is on vacation, or your friends are meeting up for a weekend getaway, or maybe you’re at the neighborhood pool (or a friend’s) and no one can remember which towel is theirs? ENTER Travel Towel Hangers! Your color coded (extra for name personalization) towel hanger, so NO ONE touches your towel- and your towel doesn’t have to hang over the shower that is… just ew. They are bell-shaped plastic (but not? Environmentally safer?) thingamabobs that fold and open to make a convenient towel hanger. Pack one for your whole team/family and no one will wipe their gross face on your towel again!
Sophisticated Hearing Aid dehumidifier (and other accessibility products to look better)
This is for my deaf/hoh peeps. We need a dehumidifier for our preciously fragile, ridiculously expensive hearing aids that cry when they get even a little humid. I have one. It looks like: a hearing aid dehumidifier (ugly). There are LOTS of people, especially the sophisticated silvers, who have hearing aids. They search on big sites like Amazon. If even ONE of those options was pretty- they’d buy it. If it had cool compartments for extra hearing aid batteries and water-proof travel hearing aid storage- they’ll pay double.
Plant Service
This may already be a thing too, but someone should do this. You know how we would all love to have gorgeous plants throughout our house (or business) – what if you could have a designer outfit your home (or business) with plants (from the plant to the pot) and THEN (here’s the best part) – MAINTAIN them for you. Like- they come and water them once a week- or they give you the watering instructions down to the minute and come check/prune/repot/whatever is needed once a month. Basically like having a personal gardener but you’re not British royalty. (OK- this DOES exist for businesses, but I feel like for homes it’s still not as prevalent.)
A way to put all the random leftover dollars and cents from old gift cards into charity
Why isn’t this already a thing? Maybe it is. They need a better ad-campaign.
A shirt that says “look it up” for all the people who are tired of explaining things. This is stupid easy to do and I am still not going to achieve it.
Troll Blocker
Someone who you hire to delete all stupid and mean comments. Online therapy in the preventative sense.
A podcast featuring my sisters
(I happen to think our conversations are profound and hilarious) – this is pretty self-explanatory. We just need someone to produce it because we have other things to do besides learn how to do that.
Closed captioning literally everywhere
I know some folks are working on it, but until then- can we just make them more standard for literally everything? Especially at airports and other public transportation sites. Who the hell can actually understand the person on the intercom?
Shower Hair Keeper?
Some kind of thing in the shower where you can easily and not grossly put all the hair that comes out of your head when you wash it. I told my sisters that it would be cool if that hair could then be recycled, but that grossed them out.
Shower Thoughts
Some kind of recording device for those inspiring moments in the shower. Kind of like an Alexa for ideas you have in the shower or bath. Maybe it should just be her. But I like the idea of it being something else.
WaterproofBook
Some kind of waterproof container for your book that allows you to turn pages easily. That way you can read in the pool, bath, beach, lake, whatever- without worrying about getting your book wet. (Or so you don’t yell at those kids for splashing your library book.)
Lightweight cookware
Arthritis kitchen- things that make draining, pouring, etc easier. Maybe this exists, but I feel like it could be more mainstream.
Satin covers for car headrests
Because curly hairs don’t like rubbing against car fabric.
Caps Lock Autocorrect
An autocorrect that corrects when you accidentally keep the caps lock on. This should be a thing. Is it? It should be standard.
Actor Commercial
A commercial directed toward actors, using actors, but saying that they are actors AND real live people. Because actors ARE real live people. You know? Those commercials that say “these are actors, not real people” I think that’s weird. Do something to make fun of it.
Idea Database
A database where people put their ideas in and someone can buy them. Like a think tank but for investors to go shopping for ideas. (I’m starting it! Right here! But someone else should do it better.)

Chore Load Calculator
A site that lists like ALL the chores and you can take an audit of your family and it’ll show something like a person drowning in laundry for the person who carries too heavy a load of chores. Also you can get suggestions for how to redistribute and it’ll populate a chore chart automatically once you assign the tasks. SOMEONE DO THIS.
