– the exhibit that my Grandfather is in. It’s a really well done exhibit that you can find in the basement of the DC Holocaust museum, don’t need a timed ticket. It does a great job of providing context and information about the American knowledge and response to the Holocaust, even before the camps were liberated. SO GOOD. (Also, if you’d like to see a precious picture of my Opa when he was a young man, check out the wall of refugee stories and look for Tom Doeppner.)
